The Call Of Love
|All of us at one time or another, have asked ourselves, why are we here? What is our purpose in life? These are questions that philosophers, poets, and song writers, have pontificated throughout the ages.|
The purpose and focus of this blog, is to discuss what love is, and the essential tools that we all need as human beings, to live in love, walk in love, and share love with others.
In my opinion, the reason we are on this earth, is to answer the call of love in our life. The purpose of our life at its core, is to not only live in love, but to walk in love, by sharing unconditional love with others. Everything we do in life, should be predicated on love. If we don't know what love is, how can we live in love in our own life first and foremost, as well as share love with others?
Since the beginning of time, man has sought to define what love is. It is not my intention to denounce every definition of love that you may have heard, or read about over the years, but rather to share with you, my thoughts on love, and hopefully inspire you to come to a clear understanding, and acceptance, of what love is in your own life.
The following is my own definition of love. You may, or may not, agree with my definition of love, but it is my hope, that in reading my definition of love, it will act as a springboard inside your heart, to ask questions, and to delve deeper inside those parts of yourself, that you haven't visited in a long time.
"Love is embracing someone for who they are, seeing the cracks that humanity has left in their life over the years, and covering over those cracks, with compassion and understanding".
Simply put, "love is reaching deep inside someone's soul, and kissing them so deep inside, that they are never the same".
What is love? Is there such a thing as love at first sight? Is it possible to fall in, and out of love with someone? How do we stay in love in ourselves, and with others? These are some of the things that we will be discussing on this blog site.
I hope you will join me on the journey of discovering love in life, in ourselves, and with one another.
